	Caroline Burnett Hodd PhD, MSc (Neuroscience), PGCE, MCOptom Dr Burnett Hodd comes from an optometric family, her father, grandfather and great-grandfather were optometrists. Before becoming an optometrist she gained a PhD in Particle Physics and a Masters in Neuroscience. She also taught Maths and Science for three years in inner-London secondary schools. When she decided to follow the family tradition she did it in style and gained a first class degree in Optometry from City University winning several prizes and she now practices with Mr Kerr two days a week, spending the rest of the time working at her father's specialist contact lens practice in central London. She has a special interest in children's eye examinations.
