Principal Optometrist

BSc (First Class Honours) Optometry, MCOptom

Simalan is our lead optometrist, with goals to provide thorough eye examinations to the highest standard for all. To achieve this we invest in state-of-the-art equipment, including a comprehensive OCT machine (allowing for macula scans, widefield scans, glaucoma-specific scans and topography maps), and continually extend the range of products we offer to keep up with new innovations.

As well as carrying out enhanced eye examinations, Sim specialises in dry eyes (including IPL Therapy, Meibomian gland expression and BlephEx), myopia control (with soft disposable contact lenses, orthokeratology and spectacles) as well as managing complex prescriptions, including high myopia and keratoconus.

Our optometrists are specialists and second to none - they are both exceptionally qualified, with numerous post graduation awards and further accreditation to deliver more advanced services.
